Experience
Taught English as a foreign language to students in a language school over the summer, gaining experience in planning and delivering lessons within a school environment. Mentored students at college in preparation for A level History and Psychology exams, one of whom achieved an A grade in June under my tutelage after failing in the January exam. Hoping to go on to complete a PGCE teaching qualification after BA degree. I find mentoring students one to one a rewarding experience, especially seeing the improvements that can be made when students have the space and opportunity to talk to a tutor, when in a usual class they may not get the chance.
